Reverb is added, Tremolo, 7025 preamp, tone stack with treble and bass controls, Vibrato channel gets a bright cap, 12AT7 long tail pair phase inverter, 2 6V6GT power tubes using adjustable fixed bias putting out about 22 watts. The Deluxe Reverb design will undergo no major changes from this point on.

The blackface Deluxe Reverb has a small 22w 6V6-powered amp with a single 12" speaker, most likely a tiny sounding Oxford speaker that farts out at volumes required to play with a drummer. The Super Reverb is a powerful 40w 6L6 amp with four 10" speakers and it has a mid knob and bright switch for tweaking middle and higher frequencies.

It was extremely noisy and the reverb was crackling and popping. It was a USA 110 volt AC model and so used a step down transformer to enable it to run in the UK on 230 volts The amp was all original apart from the power supply capacitors and the choke having been changed.
